Test

When twilight veils the sky in hues of gold,
And silent stars awake from daylight’s reign,
I ponder o’er the tales of love retold,
Where hearts entwined must part in joy or pain.

Thine eyes, two beacons in the dusky night,
Doth pierce my soul with glances soft and pure,
Thy voice, a melody of sweet delight,
Doth promise solace that shall e’er endure.

Yet time, that cruel thief, doth steal away
The precious moments we hold fast and dear,
But though the years may pass and we decay,
Our love’s bright flame shall never disappear.

So let us live with passion unrestrained,
For in our hearts, true love shall e’er be gained.
