I’ve been in the indie publishing space for twelve years, and I started out as a blogger. However, after making the jump to author, I decided to pursue a Bachelor of Information Science in Publishing so that I could become a qualified editor. Second to writing, editing novels is my passion and so is working with my clients.

I have been editing since 2017 and each project is given the time and dedication it deserves.

As a developmental editor, I’m like a story whisperer, diving into the big picture of your book—plot, pacing, characters, themes, and structure—to figure out what’s working and what needs some TLC. I help you untangle messy storylines, deepen character arcs, tighten up pacing, and ensure everything flows seamlessly. My focus is on shaping your story into something that grabs readers by the heartstrings (or keeps them on the edge of their seats) and doesn’t let go. Together, we’ll make your story unputdownable.

As a copy editor, I’m here to give your manuscript a polish. I smooth out the wrinkles—fixing grammar, punctuation, and spelling—while making sure your sentences flow. I keep an eagle eye on consistency (did your character’s eyes magically change color?) and clarity (does that metaphor actually make sense?). I’ll point out awkward phrasing and help you tighten your wording while making sure your unique voice shines through without distractions. Think of me as the final clean-up crew, ready to help your story strut its stuff out into the world!

As a proofreader, my job is to be your final set of eyes before your work goes out into the world. I focus on catching any lingering errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. I also make sure everything is consistent—whether it’s your character names or stylistic choices. My goal is to ensure your work looks professional and polished, free of any distractions that might pull your readers out of the experience.
